As deep autumn approaches let’s take the opportunity to give ourselves a pinch of exotic thanks to Shiborino. This wallcovering is made with a linen jacquard fabric laminated on a colored backing. The jacquard fabric has itself a textured design, additional to that a colourful pattern is printed in top. The top layer print is inspired by the ancient japanese shibori dyeing technique. Shiborino is a free contemporary interpretation of this ancient technique, scaled upon an uneven jacquard surface made of mixed linen. This wallcovering is fire retardant and stain repellent, seams are just slightly visible, hided by the great play of light reflections and patterns.
